Sugunam vande, Rama ramanam vande



 



I salute the pure one , I salute the storehouse of pity,



I salute the good charactered one , I salute the sweet
heart of Lakshmi 



 



Durithaga visha sarpa makutam ,



Moksha samrajya makutam,



Mandharodhara nipunam ,



Pundarikaksham                                    (Amalam vande…)



 



The eagle for the poisonous snake of sufferings,



The crown of the land of salvation,



The expert who lifted the Mandhara mountain,



The God with lotus like eyes.



 



Akhilandapathim , Radhapathim,



Prathu thanaya sarathim,



Narayana Bhata Duritha 
khandanam krishnam,

The lord of all universe, the Lord of Radha,



The charioteer of Arjuna, son of Kunthi,



And the Krishna who put an and ,

The God whose body shines like the Sun at dawn,
