Vidhyayil unaraavu jnaan devi nin

You hold
in your hand the famous veena ,
drawn,
By the chief priest using
the seven oceans
And I should only wake up, in your
musical talent
Which
rises up very attractive musical note
And I should mentally get awake only then

Yuga Sankrama gopura thiru nadayil
Jeevande kilikakkum akshara moottuvaan
Nee unarnnirikkunnu devi,
Nin kai vala kilungunnu
In the dusk the red guruthi of Kukum
would flow
In your
divine gate with a tower of the beginning of Yuga
To feed
alphabets to the birds
of life
Oh goddess you are
awake
Your bangles on hand shakes and produces sound
